[finish] Ickle Ted’s Christmas
Here be the headless teddy bear!
I took pity on the headless teddy bear, though, and stitched his head last night before bed. This morning, I gave him some snowflakes and did all the backstitch. I think, though, that I made more mistakes with the damned backstitch (i.e. the dark brown outline and embellishments) than I did with the rest of the design! And oh, had I forgotten how fun fractional stitches can be :p
I’m feeling rather proud of myself right now — I’ve not cross stitched for years, and now I have completed a small (3″x3″) kit. A kit in a weekend — not bad at all! :)
And now it’s time to move on to stitching some more of Autumn.
