Solo, continued…
Last night I worked on Solo some more, whilst watching television. I’m really pleased with what I managed to accomplish last night, because it now means that Solo has a head! LOL :-)

That took me around five hours, admittedly while I was pausing every now and again to watch the telly. All I need to do now is stitch the remainder of his behind (!) and his tail, and then I’ll be working on the shadows and a flowerpot. And after that, it’s just a case of backstitching. Oh, and adding his eyes — two French knots. Maybe I’ll get him completely finished over the next week or so. I think I’ll need to upgrade him to a larger hoop first though…
Work and Stitchcraft…
Today has been a mixture of work and rest. In between lots of pieces of work I’ve managed to find some time to continue with stitching Solo. Here’s where I’m up to now, which — in comparison to the other day’s post — means it’s coming along nicely.

Despite the stitching, I’m feeling rather stressed because of work today — a server fell over and we had to figure out why. Cue lots of stress. Still, here’s hoping I’ll be able to calm down some shortly, with a bit of cooking and the odd pint of Strongbow. Or two. Or… ;-)
Cross Stitch Interlude
I’ve not posted one of these for a while, and I thought that I would do tonight. This is the cross stitch project that currently has my attention; I’m about a quarter of the way through, so far — I got the chart from Cross Stitch Crazy in May and have been playing with it here and there ever since.

I know it doesn’t look like much at the moment, but this is what it should look like when I’m done.
