[wip] Autumn #1
I suddenly realised that I have not posted anything about my current WIP since completing the Lughnasadh square of the sabbats wallhanging.
Well, before I start on the Mabon square (a basket of harvest vegetables), I decided to take a break from sabbats and work on another WIP I’ve had on the go for some time. I started Vervaco’s Autumn last year, but didn’t get very far — only a few stitches! — so I was drawn to continue with it.
I’ve lost count of how many hours I’ve spent on this so far — it’s at least ten, possibly twelve, but here’s where I’m currently at:

I’m actually quite enjoying this piece… Now all I need to determine is which direction to go in now — left, right, up or down. *grins* But one thing I really like about it is — it has no backstitch! And that’s a good thing, because I’m terribly slow when it comes to backstitch…
