[finish] Pooh Bear
It’s my spiritual brother’s birthday today — happy birthday, hon! *hugs* — and for one of his gifts I stitched him a Pooh. :)

This little guy measures around 8cm x 8cm, and took me about seven-and-a-half hours to stitch. I started him on Thursday (after spotting him in my local cross stitch store) and finished him yesterday afternoon. I had to stitch between various social stuffs going on, like meeting up with my fella and one of his friends for a Chinese on Saturday, but it was a nice quick project. I’m really pleased with how he came out. :-)
Next up is something small for my Dad’s birthday in March, and then something larger for a friend who’s getting married later in the year.
*smiles* Another stitching success!
It’s so nice to finish a cross stitch project, even when it’s a small one. :-) Picture coming tomorrow — after the recipient gets the gift!
[finish] Grand Piano…
Today is my fella’s (Andrew’s) birthday. As part of his birthday present, I made him this — it only took 78 hours… And yes, this is why I’ve not posted any cross stitch WIPs for ages — because I know he reads my blog, and I wanted it to be a surprise.
He seemed to love it :)
